Google Releases Security Update for Chrome

With a new wave of attacks and vulnerabilities associated to computers, mitigations ways need to come in. Every computer user has to be vigilant with the security of his or her computer.
A few things to note.
1. Is my computer password protected.
2. Is my Antivirus up to date.
3. Are my windows update set to automatic
Taking the above measures into consideration is critical to your security. Google recently announced that there would be no more updates for chrome on XP machines and when the browser of any computer is not up to date, it makes anyone a soft target for malware, phishing scams etc.
As of March 8th 2016
Google has released Chrome version 49.0.2623.87 to address multiple vulnerabilities for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Exploitation of some of these vulnerabilities may allow a remote attacker to take control of an affected system.
US-CERT encourages users and administrators to review the Chrome Releases (link is external) page and apply the necessary update
