Protecting Files with a password

This is possible, probably just hasn't been explored by you but the tool is within.

Your most important files can be protected with a password.

For example, in Microsoft Word, you can create a password to open and a password to modify a file. Just go to Tools | Options and click the Security tab. Remember the password so you don't lock yourself out!
